Friday, July 21, 2006 ::: ALRIGHT, STILL So last night I unwrapped the album, listened to it twice (while prepping for my presentation which took place this morning) and immediately decided that the album's so awesome that it really deserves a post of its own. The album's great for several reasons - A) It has some amazing tunes in it, my favorites being 'Littlest Things' and 'Everything's Just Wonderful', and B) It contains probably the best lyrics you can ever find in a pop song. I was reading the booklet and I had the widest grin. Let's take at some of the lines from track #5 'Not Big' - 'Alright how would it make you feel if I told you that you never ever made me come? In the year and a half that we spent together, yeah I never really had much fun!' ' Never wanted it to end up this way, you've only got yourself to blame, I'm gonna tell them that you're rubbish in bed now And that you're small in the game!' 'Yeah let's rewind, let's turn back time to when you couldn't get it up' followed by 'If that weren't enough to deal with, you became premature' 'You're not big you're not clever, No you ain't a big brother, Not big whatsover!' And that is that. The album actually has around 3 tracks that I don't really care about out of the 11 but the others are all brilliant and the good ones really make up for those that don't quite make it. And now some videos for your viewing pleasure. Fergie - London Bridge Trust me, Fergie is way hotter when she's on stage. Don't you think London should thank her for making this video? London's such a fun city now isn't it! Jessica Simpson - A Public Affair Jessica Simpson has no brain, is so so so stupid, and she's not afraid to show it to the world (again), yet this time she's got company, so you're reminded that she's not the only stupid woman on earth. And this video is wrong on several accounts - all the licking is disgusting (the ice cream scene is NOT sexy), it's all too similar to the skating scene in Madonna's Sorry video, and that ugly guy actually has more screen time than Eva Longoria. However it's probably very successful in letting all viewers know that she may be divorced, but she's got all the right friends. Did you all read the horrifying newspaper article on how listening to mp3 using earphones can pose serious serious damage to your ears?! I don't understand why that's news but it sounds so serious I'm feeling the need to cut down on listening to music in the streets. "I have great tolerance... " I said it and I mean it. Sometimes I really do. But I can lose my patience. When will that be I wonder?
